CREAMPAW
x - WindClan - Apprentice - x
BASICS
Name:CreamkitCreampawCreamdapple
Gender: She-cat
Age: 8 Moons
Position: Apprentice
Clan: WindClan
Appearance: Creampaw is, and will become an even more beautiful cat. She just has that color fur you don’t see too often. To put it basically, she is a cream colored tabby, but it goes so much further than that. Yes, she is cream colored, but there are faint traces of ginger all over her pelt. If looked at closely, it seems as if the ginger is another base color on her pelt. The ginger coloring is faint, and usually can only be seen in the sunlight, but if you look carefully you might find it at night. Her fur is quite short, and a little wispy.
The she-cat is the average size for a WindClan cat, and will probably always be average sized. She has the muscular body structure like most in WindClan have. Creampaw's fur is sleek and shiny, showing off her RiverClan heritage. She is quite versatile when it comes to hunting, she can catch both fish and forest creatures quite easily. Sometimes, being half clan can be a good thing. Finally her eyes are a bright yellow color, reflecting the cream coloring well.
Personality: First of all Creampaw is a very sweet she-cat. Despite everything that has happened in her past, and everything she goes through, she really is quite a lovable cat. She just has trouble showing this love and affection at times. She shows it toward those she considers family, but to new cats it is hard to open up to. Creampaw does have an opinion, and she will usually let you know what it is, her mouth can get her intro trouble a lot.
Creampaw doesn’t see anything as a challenge and thinks she can do anything she sets her mind to. She rushes into decisions without thinking them through, which causes her to get into trouble quite frequently. These decisions can be quite brash and you never know what she is going to do. Most will occur right at the last minute, and one her mind is set, don’t think you can win an argument against that.
Her parents broke so many rules, Creampaw has a hard time drawing the line herself. She knows the basic rules, but doesn't understand them, never has. It is just hard for her to understand why these rules apply to her, when her parents broke them. If they wouldn’t have broken them, she would have not existed. Surely not all rules are meant to be followed, right?

Background
Creampaw was born a little over eight moons ago in the RiverClan nursery. Her mother was a proud and strong RiverClan warrior, however, her father was a WindClan warrior. She never knew who her father was or that she was half-clan until she was two moons old. Her mother never spoke about her father, and naturally the kit grew curious seeing other kits with their fathers. But she didn’t question her mother, thinking it might upset her.
It was no secret her mother had been seeing a WindClan cat, or that she carried his kits. It turned out that her mother was having two kits. One looking identical to her, the other the splitting image of her father. There was no doubt Creamkit was her father’s daughter, and anyone could tell the resemblance between the two cats. No way could her mother even think of the denying the father, Creamkit was just like him, except she had her mother’s eyes.
Creamkit grew up with other RiverClan cats her age, until she reached her second moon. The little kit was playing with her best friend outside the nursery. This had been both kits first time out of the nursery since they had been born, both having overprotective mothers. A couple warriors passed by, snickering and glancing at Creamkit with humor in their eyes. Creamkit, being the innocent kit she was, had no clue what was going on. Soon the warriors came over and began to make fun of the little kit, calling her names such as ‘half-breed’ or ‘tainted blood’. The kit only looked at them with curious eyes, she had been confused. When she questioned them about it, they just rolled their eyes and walked away, continuing to mutter names.
Creamkit didn’t take much into it, and began playing with her friend again. When the kits were tired and the sun began to go down, meaning it was time for bed, Creamkit curled up next to her mother and sibling and began to ask the question she had never asked before. The kit wanted to know who her father was, and why she was being called so many names.
And so it came the time for the queen to tell her daughter about her past. She began by telling Creamkit how she met a tom named Brackenpaw at her first gathering. He was from WindClan, and he was not much older than herself. They became good friends, and when they patrolled borders and met each other along the way they would stop and say hello. They were instant friends. Several gatherings later Ripplepaw had become Ripplestream, and so the two were warriors, finally.
They met one night at the border between WindClan and RiverClan, and realized they had more in common they than thought possible. After that night, the two met regularly, at least once every other day. They didn’t think they were doing anything wrong, just by talking to one another. That is until Brackenstorm asked Ripplestream to be his mate. The she-cat couldn’t say no, and so the two met even more along the border. They tried as best as they could to keep this secret, but several cats found out before the two could explain.
They were forbidden to see each other, but by that time Ripplestream found out she was expecting his kits. Nothing in her life had prepared her for this. She had been allowed to go out of camp only to tell him about the kits, and after that she was forbidden to see him. Ripplestream then proceeded to tell her kit how she had not seen Brackenstorm since that day.
And so the story begins of Creamkit’s kithood after hearing the story. She now knew her father was a WindClan cat, and that she was half-clan. The kit was a bit angry at her mother for keeping this from her, but after a couple days it sunk in and the kit wanted to meet her father. It took a lot of persuading, but a meeting of father and daughter was arranged a few days later.
Ripplestream carried Creamkit to the border, Creamkit’s sibling following, with WindClan and there waiting was Brackenstorm His eyes shone bright as he saw his children. And it was then that Creamkit bonded with her father. She was a little timid at first but after a while she really enjoyed his company.. Since she was still young, she only saw her father once every few days. It was just a long journey for her mother to carry her back and forth. But those days, Creamkit looked forward to.
At the age of three moons she was given a choice. She could either stay in RiverClan with her mother and sibling (who had decided to stay no matter what), or move to WindClan with her father. It was a hard decision for the kit. Stay in the Clan she grew up in, or go to the Clan where her father was. Creamkit was given a moon to decide, and had huge debates in her head. Ripplestream reassured her that whatever decision she made would be alright with her.
Creamkit decided to go to WindClan. Her father deserved a chance to know her, and she was tired of everyone looking at her the way they did. The other kits teased her and her sibling. Her sibling could take it, but Creamkit just couldn’t. And so began her life in a new clan, with new clanmates and new surroundings.
Creamkit loved the new nursery, and was excited to learn when she was a bit older she would learn how to swim. The kit had always loved water and this was just perfect. She was welcomed into the clan, and didn’t have nearly the awful time she did in RiverClan. Creamkit felt like she had made the right decision and this is where she belonged. The queen who had adopted her was nice and Creamkit played and got along with her kits well. After such an awful start, Creamkit was finally able to be a normal kit and have fun, not worrying about the harsh words. She spend the rest of her kithood having fun and enjoying her father being with her as much as he could.
Apprenticeship
Creamkit became Creampaw at six moons and learned the boundaries of the clan and how to hunt and fight. Being part RiverClan seemed to help the she-cat hunt not only fish, but mice and squirrels well. Once she was apprenticed she was able to see her sibling again, and though she misses her sibling terribly, they still remain close. Creampaw still sees her mother from time to time, but this she-cat is definitely loyal to WindClan. That is, until the flood of despair happened.
Creampaw's parents had once again produced a litter of kits, born the same day Creamkit and Marigoldkit became Creampaw and Marigoldpaw. Creampaw was allowed to see them when they were born, but that was the only time she had really seen them. When the kits were a week old, the tragedy began.
Her mother was killed from a spout of greencough she just couldn’t shake and left Marigoldpaw in charge of the kits. Marigoldpaw decided to bring the two kits to WindClan, to their other sibling, Creampaw. Despite Marigoldpaw being more motherly than her own littermate, she knew she couldn’t take care of the two kits, not with everything going on, not by herself.
She was met by Creampaw, who had come to check on Marigoldpaw and their mother, and Marigoldpaw gave the two kits to Creampaw to raise. Marigoldpaw herself was killed not too long after making sure the two kits were with Creampaw, thanks to not watching where she was going. And so Aspenkit and Juniperkit were brought to WindClan to be raised. They know nothing of their RiverClan heritage, and think of Creampaw as their mother.OUT OF CHARACTER
