APPEARANCE,lilypaw is your average sized apprentice; not too big, and not to small. however, she is wiry. she has long limbs, and a small abdomen, something she will grow into. for now, she looks just plain awkward. her paws are slightly too big for her body, making her very clumsy, but this too, which change with age. if you can get past the weird frame and stringy limbs, the she-cat is quite pretty, with a beautifully shaped head, and intelligently placed ears. the shape of her eyes, being slightly almond shaped, makes her look sad all the time, when in reality she is probably in a great mood.
now, lilypaw's pelt is a cornucopia of different colours. let's start at her paws. all four of her paws are white, along with all of her legs, minus her right front leg. about a quarter of the way up on this limb, the white gives way to orange, with white flecks strewn throughout, almost like that of a orange tabby. this orange patch appears at the base of each of her legs. her chest, neck, chin, muzzle, and up between her eyes is all white. there is a black spot that dominates the right side of her face, which encases her right eye. along the left side of the black spot, there is more of the ginger markings. on the left side of her face, it is flecked with black, white and ginger. the fur on her back is mostly black, but the ginger and white patches are very distinctive, running along her rib cage and down through to her hips.
the she-cat has beautiful eyes, always seeming like she is a little too close to tears, as if a powerful sadness has encompassed the young she-kit. they are a very pale yellow, and in certain lights, they give off a green tinge, due to the varying hues of yellow strewn throughout them. lilypaw's eyes are very expressionate despite the fact that it looks like she is going to cry all the time.

PERSONALITY,on her own--
when lilypaw is by herself, she has a very hard time staying still. her paws are always moving, her tail constantly flicking behind her. she tries very hard to control these little ticks, but it is a losing battle. lilypaw also finds herself lost in thought most of the time when she isn't in the presence of anyone else, usually going over conversations that she may have had that day, or even a moon ago. sometimes she daydreams about the day when she will finally get the chance to be a mother to her own kits. other times, her thoughts are far darker -- too dark for an apprentice of only seven moons. she has a nasty habit of getting trapped in the 'what if's' and imagining the worst possible scenario that could happen. this is especially prominent before a training session; she thinks of everything that could possibly go wrong. if her head is in a good place though, and the time of day permits, she can be found simply staring up at the morning sky, drinking in all the colours of the sunrise.
among friends--
to see her around her friends, she is a completely different cat than when she is alone. gone is the bad thoughts, and out comes the happy-go-lucky apprentice. her bright smile seems as if it would never leave, and she could sit and listen to her friends talk all day. she will listen to anyone who talks to her, engage with them, even if what she is being told is something she has been told a million times before. she doesn't mind, she just likes being around people who like her. however, it isn't always sunshine and rainbows; she has a knack for getting into arguments about seemingly insignificant things, and once she gets going, it is almost impossible to get her to stop. she doesn't mean to get rude, but often times her mouth speaks before her brain is able to formulate a respectful, and polite response. one thing that can be said for her, if she hurts your feelings, most of the time she will apologize - only if she believes she was in the wrong.
in the presence of authority--
like any apprentice who views authority figures as gods, she can be really quiet and nervous around swanstar, and her deputy. she appears to shrink in on herself, frightened by their awesomeness. she isn't scared of them, she isn't simply unsure of the appropriate way to act around them. if she is mid conversation with someone, and either swanstar or the deputy walk up, she will instantly fall silent and stare up at them with wide eyes, scared that she is going to get into trouble. this will come to pass as she matures and realizes that they are still just members of the clan, though they do deserve more respect than others.
while training--
when she is out in the field with her mentor, she is usually pretty quiet and observant. one of her greatest wishes is to be a strong warrior, and she knows that she must train hard to become one. however, she has a habit of being late for training, and she is an expert at coming up with all sorts of excuses as to why. she thinks that by lying she won't get yelled yet, however this has yet to prove successful. she knows in her heart of hearts that it is rude to lie, but she is still naive enough to believe that she might get away with it some day. she doesn't enjoy getting in trouble, and can spark an argument, but she usually backs down in these situations. she is a hard-working apprentice, despite her tardiness, and takes any constructive criticism at face value and doesn't usually dwell on it, but there are times where she will think about what her mentor said for days or weeks at a time. sometimes lilypaw can become quite obsessed over a battle move, especially if she finds she is having problems with it, refusing to stop until she has perfected it. unfortunately for the apprentice, fighting will never be her strong suit. hunting comes far easier to her, therefore, she doesn't believe she should put as much time into it. as she grows up, she will realize where her strengths lie.
facing the enemy--
lilypaw is not brave, and never will be. however, she doesn't always think before she speaks, and she can be quite belligerent when she is feeling intimidated or insecure. this will get her into trouble in the future. she hasn't been in any confrontations that could be potentially dangerous, but gatherings are a different story.
around her crush--
if, and when she develops a crush on someone, she will more or less act like a bumbling kit trying to impress said tom. she really doesn't have a clue about how to act around toms, and if there is a tom that makes her heart sing, you can guarantee that she will stutter, stumble and generally just make a fool of herself.
among the innocent and the wise--
lilypaw has a very strong love for both kits and elders alike. she misses the days when she was a kit, and she has no qualms about hanging out around the nursery and entertaining the kits that reside there. she loves to watch them play, watch their boundless energy and the ways they just straight up ask anything they want. she enjoys sitting with them and hearing their troubles, silly as they may be, and offering her -in her boldest opinion- wise advice. now, when she is around elders, she doesn't mind cleaning their nests, or applying mouse bile to ticks. she is fascinated by their stories and the way that they tell them. however, she can't help but feel bad for them, especially if their joints are bugging them, or if it is a young cat who had to retire early. her mother used to tell her that her heart is too big for the life of a warrior, but lilypaw has never understood what that means. she will learn in due time exactly what her mother meant.
with her family--
though she is an apprentice, she is still quite young and hasn't exactly accepted the fact that her family might not be as prominent in her life as they used to be when she was a kit. she vows to stay close to her sister, rosepaw, and this is a vow that she will keep. she is the most open and free when around her family. the she-cat hardly ever stops talking when around her mom or dad, and she always wants to play with her sister.

FAMILY
- MOTHER: DOVESONG - beautiful long-haired diluted calico with ochre eyes
- FATHER: BLACKCLAW - large black tom with yellow eyes
- SIBLING(S): ROSEPAW- lithe tortie she-cat with green eyes
HISTORY,dovesong and blackclaw were both fairly young when the diluted calico found out that she was pregnant. the she-cats body was strong, however, and the pregnancies and delivery of the kits was easy for the queen. she birthed two kits, a tortoiseshell who she named rosekit, and a calico, who she named lilykit. dovesong could not remember the last time she had ever been so happy.
the two kits were best friends from the moment they opened their eyes. with similar personalities and the strong urge to get into anything and everything, the two of them were inseparable. they would sleep curled up together by their mothers warm tummy, her feathery tail wrapping around them protectively, and they would wake one right after the other. from the moment they woke up in the morning until they fell asleep together, the two were glued to each others sides. the two troublemakers got in trouble more times than they could count for sneaking out of the nursery and finding their ways into the other dens. lilykit realized at those times that she absolutely hated getting yelled at. it made her feel insignificant and unwanted, though this was never the case. she also found out that she loved to watch the sun rise in the morning. it fascinated her to see the way the sky could change from the darkest of blues, to a palette of other colours in the matter of hours.
when it was time for her apprentice ceremony, lilykit found herself not wanting to leave the nursery. she wanted to stay there and live with her mother. she voiced her feelings to her mother, and her mother just smiled and shook her head. she told lilykit that there was a time when every kit had to leave their mother to become strong warriors so that they could protect riverclan, but that she could return one day should she choose to take a mate and bear her own kits. from that moment, lilykit vowed to become a mother so that she could return.
now, a moon after becoming an apprentice, she is starting to see that becoming a warrior is more important than being a mother at this point. though she still longs to have kits of her own, right now she is focused on her training.
