Appearance || Ivypaw is a British Shorthair, so due to her breed, she is a stocky cat. Her size is also quite small. She will probably stay the size of a normal apprentice for the rest of her life. She is also quite thin, so if she worked on speed more, she would be really quick.Coat || Her pelt is short, yet fluffy and medium in thickness.Coloring || Ivypaw is a dilute calico with white being the overpowering color. The only real coloring on her is pale ginger and slate gray and that goes from her eyes, over head to her back and continuing to her tail, along with mostly gray on the back of her front legs, spots on her pads, and pale ginger on her hind left leg. She has white on the tip of her tail and a few spots that interrupt the other coloring on her neck and back. Her nose is a bubble gum pink with white surrounding her muzzle.Eyes || Her eyes are a muddy, rusty, orange brown color with absolutely no other color in them at all. No green, blue, amber, gold, or anything else that might pop up in other cats.

PERSONALITY,
Ivypaw is a quiet, gentle, and kind cat. She is always kind to everyone and tries to include others if she feels they are being left out. Her feelings are hurt easily and she's not much of a fighter, but she will if she has to. Most cats don't think she works very hard when training, but her mentor is the only one who knows better. Ivypaw will never give up. She is horrible at things but once her mentor teaches her something, she will work at it and work at it until she gets it down pat. She won't show anyone else how much she has come along because she doesn't think it important. If she is training with another apprentice, she will sit and watch, not getting involved, but then the next day she will be vigorous in trying to master it, or maybe even change it some to accommodate for her attributes. Ivypaw is a graceful cat, but she can sometimes trip over herself when training or hunting and it makes her get annoyed with herself.If someone is hurting or gets hurt, she always finds someway to blame herself and becomes melancholy for about a week, but the only at she will show her true feelings to is her mentor and with everyone else, she will put up a facade, being the bright, bubbly, and kind feline that she normally is, trying to brighten up other's days.She is also quite nimble in trees and sometimes prefers it. She loves to climb to the very top and will race anyone that is brave enough to run through the treetops. She is almost as confident running on branches as she is on the ground and she makes it look easy.

HISTORY,
Lilypool and Dusksky fell in love as young warriors. They became mates quickly and after two moons they announced that Lilypool was pregnant. This came to no one's surprise. Several moons later, the couple brought into the world two kits, a male and a female. The male was medium sized for a kit. He was deemed Flamekit from his fluffy ginger and white pelt. The second kit was definitely the runt with being almost half the size of her brother. She was named Ivykit and the clan feared the she-kit wouldn't last very long. After all, she was extremely small.
Everyone was surprised when Ivykit lasted a day. And then another. And another, until a week had passed. Soon two weeks had passed. A month. Before anyone knew it, the two kits were being made into apprentices. Ivypaw was still half the size of her brother. Flamepaw and their parents protected the little she-cat, shielding her from the cruelty of the world. This made Ivypaw grow into an extremely kind, shy, and quiet cat. Ever since she was a kit, she could put a smile on anyone's face, even the grumpiest elder. Whenever she couldn't cheer someone up or someone was hurt, she felt like she was somehow partly responsible, but it never affected her too badly.
When the two apprentices were 8 moons old, Flamepaw was on a patrol when a fox attacked. The tom was ahead of the patrol by a few tail-lengths and the fox was on him first. He fought the best he could while the others came toward them, but the fox outmatched him, breaking his back and giving him multiple wounds. By the time the other cats on the patrol were able to send the fiend running, Flamepaw had lost too much blood. They took him back and Tigerstep, his uncle, did all he could for him, but it wasn't enough. Howlingstar gave him the warrior name of Flamefox, just before the young tom died.
Ivypaw went into a deep depression, believing that there should of been something she could of done. She was like that for a month. The only thing that snapped her out of it was her parents announcing they were having another litter. Lilypool had been pregnant for over a moon but they didn't feel it was right to announce it until Lilypool could no longer hide it. They were scared Ivypaw would become angry but instead she slowly became her old self and when the kits were born, she played with them.
Sometimes when someone gets hurt or is too sad for her to cheer up, she gets all depressed again, but it normally only lasts for three days or so. She doesn't ever let it show except to one cat, the one feline she trusts the most in this world. Her mentor. Her mentor is the only one who truly sees what lays beneath the kind and shy cat. Her mentor sees the depression, the determination, the anxiety, everything that Ivypaw doesn't let others see.
