SHORT DESCRIPTION,Russetfur is a beautiful fluffy reddish brown she-cat with gold eyes.

SPE || 4Russetfur was named for her beautiful, soft reddish-brown fluffy pelt, which seems to fluff out in all the right places on her lithe body. On land, she is as graceful as can be, and in he water, she is a fluid as a swimming snake. The color of her fur is a gradient from chocolate brown to soft light tan with a rich reddish color in between. She is lean and tall in stature, but only seeming tall when compared with the rest of her graceful body. She has long white whiskers protruding from her dainty little lips, and her large ears seem to help frame the shape of her face. Her eyes are of a gentle honey golden color, and the tip of her tail is coated in that rick dark chocolate color.

PERSONALITY,Russetfur has been known by all of the members of Riverclan who know and knew her as the kind, gentle, sweet, caring she-cat she is. She absolutely hates fighting of any kind, and believes that all fights can and should be resolved with mature words of wisdom and guidance from Starclan. While this belief is based off what happened to the clans the last time the cats of the clans fought first, asked second, it is also based off her own personal desires. Russetfur has sworn that she would always be helpful to her clan as a medicine cat, and would never fail them, and as of yet, she hasn't. As an apprentice, she persevered through her first deliveries, bad injuries, sickness, greencough, and even fatal injuries, and has learned from them all. The one and only time she had ever let a clan mate die was to a fatal wound in the head after a battle, a wound she could not save no matter what, but it has fueled her desire to only accept success of everything she does. She is very strong in this way, but she is very weak. She was weak before, and still gets over it now. She has a terrible fear of failure, and letting another cat die, and the longer she goes on like this, the stronger it gets, putting herself at risk for depression should one day, a cat die under her care. She loses confidence in herself easily, and hesitates more than anyone would like.

HISTORY,As a kit, Russetfur was even then very shy, careful, and disliked fighting.While her brothers, Forestkit and Thrushkit would wrestle, playing Riverclan and Windclan, she would stay far out of the way with a wary watch on the two.When her brothers tried to force her to join their games, she would always manage to struggle her way out of it, sharpening her escaping-from-a-fight skills. This labelled her a coward from that very moment on. The clan didn't need a medicine cat apprentice, as it already had one at the time, so becoming a medicine cat apprentice was out of the question.
But Russetfur's goal hadn't been to become the medicine cat apprentice; she had only wanted to be not a burden to her clan, but was struggling to find out how. Her lack of talent or motivation for fighting and her weak skills for hunting frustrated her mentor to no end. But the one that this all frustrated to most was Russetfur, whose wishes to be an asset to the clan were crushed. But just in time, though not an event still to be joyful about, the medicine cat suddenly passed away from sickness, and the was - apprentice, now newly - made medicine cat was happy to take Russetfur under her wing as the medicine cat apprentice. Just as if destiny had planned it all out since the beginning, Russetfur did well in her training, working hard to memorize and get better at herbs. What she loved most about her job was that she could be helpful to her clan in a very important way.
Eventually, her mentor died from a fatal wound on the day after the clan was invaded by Shadowclan and the kind medicine cat had received the wound from a vicious attack by a shadowclan warrior. But since then, Russetfur has proved herself a worthy medicine cat who always is eager to help, and prides herself in her job that she loves so much.
