Breeze, or Whitedapple as her mother had called her as their secret, stumbled along. The young she-cat had rarely stopped while on the run, only to rest for a few moments during the day, hunt for prey maybe once at night, and get a drink whenever she found a water source, but she still had no clue as to where she was going. Lilyfreckle had never of told her where to find this ThunderClan from her stories and right now, Breeze wasn't completely sure as to whether the Clans were real or whether her mother had just of made up a fun story that grew.
She stumbled again, this time her paw landed on a rock and rolled, which resulted in her paw being sprained. Breeze whimpered and tried to put weight on it but it only shot a hot pain from her paw and through her leg, almost making her fall. This is just great. I have absolutely no idea how much farther I have to go before I'm safe and now this happens! Breeze sighed and pulled her paw up so she could continue on without hurting it. She limped, but it started to make her dizzy, seeing as she hadn't of had sleep for days, only resting when she was sure she was as safe as she could be. Why did you have to leave me mother? Breeze wanted to cry out but she held it back, like most everything else.
Breeze finally tripped and rolled, only stopping when her back hit a tree trunk. She didn't get up. Why should she when all this was futile and she'd probably end up getting herself killed anyway. She closed her eyes but when she did, it felt like her mother's presence was near her and she heard Lilyfreckle's sweet voice. Continue on little one. For me. You have not much farther until you will be safe. Breeze's eyes shot open, expecting to see her dear mother but she was not there. "Fine." She grumbled and gasped as she felt a sharp twang in her back when she tried to get up. She panted where she was for a moment before making herself stand up and continue on.
She was too tired to even notice that scents changed around her. Mostly cat scents. Her head was low, her tail limp, her blue eyes glazed, her beautiful fur matted and dirty, and she was practically dragging herself forward to what she knew not. After a moment, breeze just collapsed, not even having enough energy to wince.
...And this is where her story begins with the Clans...
ooc|| My poor girl. Half sister to Whitesplash and named after her too, seeing as her mother believed both of her kits from her first litter would die young. Sigh. Oh, and until she talks to the Clan cats, I'm going to call her Breeze. She give them her name as Whitedapple though. Tagged|| Anyone! Jump on in! Words|| 432

Tigerstep had come with the dawn patrol, paws itching to be out of camp after being stuck in camp for days. He had been organizing herbs, keeping an eye on Pumpkinflower and her kits, and treating minor injuries that the apprentices kept getting themselves into. One had been stung by a bee, one had stepped on a thorn, and one had stumbled into an abandoned den. He had definitely had his paws full. Figuring he could use some fresh air, and could at least gather a couple herbs along the way, the tiger-striped tom had woken up bright and early. Somewhere along the way the medicine cat had separated himself from the rest of the patrol, figuring he could go look at how the Catmint plants were doing. He would occasionally go and pull some weeds from the plants, seeing as how important they were to Thunderclan during Leaf Bare. His mentor had taught him that.
As he neared the old twoleg nest, Tigerstep heard a commotion just along the border. Thinking it was an enemy, the fur on the tom's haunches stood up, but he forced himself to be calm and went to investigate the noise. If a cat of another clan had any common sense, they knew not to attack a medicine cat. Soon a white and brown shape came to view, and Tigerstep knew at once it was a cat. It stood up at the base of a tree, looking like it had been knocked out, and only took a few steps before collapsing once again. His medicine instincts kicking in, the tom raced over to the cat, not caring whether it was enemy or not. Once he approached the cat, however, the medicine cat realized that he did not recognize its scent. It obviously didn't belong to any of the clans. Judging from the scent that wafted into his nostrils, this cat was also female. She appeared very weak and distressed, and he could practically smell pain coming off of her. Her paw was twisted, that much he could tell, and he could tell her back was hurting her. Taking one last sniff at her, the tom poked the she-cat very gently with the tip of his large paw, his green eyes concerned. "Hey, are you conscious?" He asked the she-cat. If she wasn't, he would just have to drag her back to camp. He was plenty strong enough; his large size had its advantages. He sat down next to the she-cat, just in case she woke up.

Breeze felt something poke her and for a moment, she thought she was a kit again with Ember annoying her. But then an unfamiliar tom's voice came through the haze in her head, making her feel more awake but not much. Her eyes slowly opened till they were almost halfway open, showing darkish blue eyes. None of her surrounds looked like the ones back when she was just a kit and right then, it didn't look even remotely familiar. Where am I? she asked herself, thinking she had said it out loud but no, she was too tired to even speak.
Her eyes fluttered close until she remembered that she heard someone say something. So, she opened her eyes again and tilted her head up to look into a green gaze. When she broke her eyes away from those vivid green ones, she gave the cat a once over. For a moment she thought she might be looking at her father, whom she'd only of heard about from her mother and her uncle. But no, this cat's eyes were lighter than what her fathers were supposed to be and his coat was probably lighter as well.
Letting out a weak sigh, Breeze closed her eyes again to drift back into that sleeping wakefulness that blocked out her pain and made her feel a bit more rested than she actually was. Maybe she could just stay like this forever. It was so much easier and she didn't feel as tired and weary, which made her feel better.

Tigerstep got his hopes up when the pretty she-cat halfway opened her eyes, revealing a dark blue color. The tom went to proceed to poke at her again when she closed her eyes, but they soon opened back up. Once her eyes were open again, the she-cat tilted her head up to stare into the tiger-striped tom's eyes. She seemed really confused, which didn't surprise him any seeing as how she had been knocked out. Once she broke her gaze away from his, the she-cat gave him a once-over look, as if she were expecting him to be someone else or something. The strange she-cat then let out a weak sigh, and closed her eyes again. She seemed to be drifting off into a sort of sleep once again. She must have been exhausted. "Oh, great. I guess you must have got pretty dinged up." He sighed. Letting out another exasperated sigh, the medicine cat stood up next to the she-cat. This meant he would have to carry her back to camp. What kind of medicine cat would leave a hurt cat on their territory, even if it wasn't part of their clan?
Reaching down carefully, the large tom gently picked up the she-cat by her scruff, hefting her over his back. This way, he wouldn't have to drag the already-hurt cat all the way back to camp. And the camp wasn't exactly near. Shrugging once, Tigerstep started out on his way towards Thunderclan's camp. He was surprised that he hadn't run into the rest of the patrol, but decided that they must have been caught up in whatever they were doing. It took him a while to get back to camp, seeing as how he had to walk slow in case the she-cat woke up and fell off of his back somehow. Even if she was rather light and underfed, she was still an extra weight. And he hadn't had much exercise recently. Soon enough, Tigerstep reached the stone hollow camp, easily recognizable by all of the scents of his clanmates swirling around him. Carefully, the tom slid into camp, ignoring the cat sitting on patrol at the entrance. They would find out soon enough why he was bringing a strange cat into their mix. Right away Tigerstep heard mumbling around him, and soon a small crowd of his clanmates began to swarm around him. With a sigh, the tom looked at all of the confused faces around him. "Howlingstar!" Tigerstep called out, his voice more annoyed than anything. "I've got something I need to show you!" He didn't bother putting the she-cat down. He would have to take her to the medicine den anyways.

Breeze was jolted from the lovely unconsciousness that she'd fallen back into when the large tabby tom hefted her onto his back. The she-cat clenched her jaw as pain jolted through her, but that just made her head ache more. When she felt his smooth fur rub against her dirty and matted pelt, it made her want to smooth it out, but her shifting made new pain course through her so she just lay still on the tom's back, keeping her eyes closed.
With how long it was taking to get where they were going, Breeze started to fall asleep. And it wasn't too bad either until she caught a fresh scent of another cat. Her fur would have bristled if it were in better condition.
The brown and white she-cat opened her eyes a little to see a cat staring at her, at least until she could no longer see him or her. As soon as she lost sight of that cat, her nose filled with a multiple of scents from cats, all seeming the same and yet different. Breeze stiffened, not caring about the pain, as she looked at all of these cats through her slitted eyes. She felt completely uncomfortable when they started to gather around the two of them and she tried to flinch away from them and their stares.
An annoyed voice made her ignore the cats around her. She knew the voice had come from the tom carrying her. "Howlingstar! I've got something I need to show you!" The large tabby tom said. Howlingstar? That sounds like one of those cats Lilyfreckle always told me about, the ones she grew up with. Breeze told herself then it dawned on her after thinking for a moment.Mother always told me the leader of the group, or Clan, always had star at the end of their name. Maybe...maybe they weren't just stories after all.
That thought scared her. What would they do to her? Why did this tom bring her here? Were they going to kill her? Breeze was getting so worked up that she hadn't of realized that she'd closed her eyes tightly. A soft chuckle could then be heard by her. Do not worry my daughter. You are safe now. Breeze opened her eyes, expecting to see her mother. And when they ask for your name, tell them the secret name that I gave you. Do this for me my little Whitedapple. Breeze could hear the whisper next to her ear but it was obvious that none of the cats surrounding her had heard.
The she-cat could almost feel Lilyfreckle's tail trail across her back, and it soothed her. Breeze no longer felt scared but she was now anxious. Anxious with meeting this Howlingstar. Anxious to hear what he would say. Anxious to see if they would let her stay with them, because if they wouldn't, then there was no other place she could ever be safe.

Howlingstar sat at the edge of the clearing in the camp right below the highledge. Sitting with him was Pumpkinflower and their new litter of kits playing together. As he watched Lionkit and Pinekit play together, he snacked on a mouse peacefully. Emberkit, his oldest son, was off training with his mentor. The senior apprentice was nearing graduation. In due time, the orange fluffy tom would begin his final assessments and graduate into a full warrior. At first his attention was drawn to his family and the mouse between his paws before he noticed that the rest of the clan's attention was turning to the camp entrance. Howlingstar put down his half eaten, beheaded mouse and walked over at the sound of his name being called. He could only wonder who the medicine cat, Tigerstep, had brought into the camp. "Hello, Tigerstep." He greeted the medicine cat pleasantly with a nod of his head. "Who is this, here?" He asked, sniffing the unconscious stranger that Tigerstep was carrying on his large shoulders. The dappled calico stranger was female, but not a kittypet or member of any of the other clans. He waited calmly and curiously to hear Tigerstep's explanation.

Tigerstep breathed a sigh of relief as Howlingstar made his way towards him. All of the others stepped back a little bit, and suddenly the camp was much less crowded. The large leader greeted the tom with a "hello" and a nod of his head and asked who the stranger was that he was carrying on his back, and then sniffed at the dingy she-cat. The medicine cat looked over his shoulder at the she-cat and back at his leader, and then shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not quite sure who this stranger is. I went out with the morning patrol and decided to split halfway to check on the catmint plants at the abandoned twoleg nest. Along the way there, I heard a commotion by the border and decided I would see what was going on. I found this she-cat knocked out by the base of a tree. She tried to stand back up, but passed out again. I could tell that she had twisted her paw. When I tried to see if she was okay, she woke up for a second and didn't respond to me, and then passed out again." Tigerstep reported, twitching his ears at the mumbling around him. "After she passed out again, I decided I would bring her back to camp to treat her injuries. I wasn't going to just leave her out there hurt and unconscious. So I picked her up and made my way back here to camp." He finished, his green eyes locked on Howlingstar.
Feeling some movement on his back, the large tom looked at the she-cat that he was carrying. Her eyes were open, and she looked extremely frightened. He didn't blame her. Tigerstep had just brought a cat into a whole group of others that she had never met in her life. He would feel that way if he were taken into Shadowclan's camp, he supposed. "Hey, are you finally awake now?" he asked the she-cat. "Do you want to get down?" Tigerstep looked at Howlingstar, and then back at the she-cat, wondering if she would talk or not. Either way, he didn't blame her.

Tigerstep...So that's the tom's name. Breeze thought as the two toms spoke to each other about her. She closed her eyes, tensing as Howlingstar sniffed her. She probably looked horrible to them, seeing as how she was almost skin and bones, had a filthy pelt, not to mention she was hurt as well. Which, being hurt would make it hard for her if she had to fight to get out of here. I could just stay on this tom. The she-cat thought. I highly doubt that they would attack me when there was a chance of hurting one of their own...Unless their like my uncle...
She was making herself frightened again, and she barely realized that Tigerstep had stopped talking to the other large tom, and had started to talk to her. "Hey, are you finally awake now? Do you want to get down?" She blinked a few times and let her mind run over what he'd said.
If she got down, then there would be a greater chance of her being hurt by one of these strange cats. But there was also a chance that they might attack her with her being on Tigerstep, and she didn't want that with how the tom had helped her so far.
"Yeah, I'm awake." She mewed, trying to sound stronger than she was, and even she could hear how tired and beaten she sounded. Her voice was also a bit raspy from not using it very much over these past moons. "And, yes, I would greatly appreciate it if you let me down." Her voice sounded better after that sentence, which made her feel a little better.
Breeze looked around at the cats surrounding them and noticed that they weren't as close as before. Must be because of the large brown tom. He must have authority over them if my mother was right in her stories. She thought and trained her dark blue gaze onto Howlingstar. He could easily be twice her age by how he looked.

Rockpath was leading the morning patrol back into camp. He had the medicine cat with him earlier and he had split off with the rest of the patrol earlier to go check on some herbs. Now back from patrolling the Shadowclan border he walked right into a crowd of cats. What in Starclan is going on? He thought looking around. Then he noticed that Howlingstar and Tigerstep were in the center of the crowd, with another cat. This cat seemed pretty beat up, its pelt was horrible and even with that you could see that he or she hadn’t been eating well. That’s probably why Tigerstep had brought the cat here.
Rockpath growled ”Let me through, and quit crowding you will all soon know what’s going on when Howlingstar figures out what’s going on.” Then he said louder with a growl to his voice.”Everyone back to your normal duties.” He weaved through the crowd and camp up near Howlingstar. Slightly behind him so the leader could speak but if he needed Rockpath to do something he was right there ready.
Rockpath looked around and cats were starting to break up and go back to their normal duties and he glared at the remaining cats, before returning his gaze back the small cat on Tigerstep’s back. Now the cat was being set down he could smell that she was not a kittypet. She was younger than him but he was only a few moons younger that the leader. Which made him feel old in a way but that did not matter to Rockpath he was just glad to be a warrior. He narrowed his green eyes at the she-cat. He could tell that she was nervous and probably frightened and injured. He just took a deep breath waited for whatever would happen next.

Howlingstar listened to Tigerstep's detailed report and was impressed by the medicine cat's thoroughness, not missing a single detail, even about how the stranger had fallen unconscious several times. Now that the newcomer had stood up on her own feet, he saw and felt pity for how skinny and starved she was. He gave a glance of gratefulness for Rockpath's actions to him. He thought of how proud of his deputy and medicine cat he was, and what great cats they were. "Alright, you may tend to her. Also give her something to eat. After she's well again, we'll decide what to do next." He knew that past leaders wouldn't have agreed with his decision to let in a stranger and nurse it to health and give it food that his warriors had caught, but deep within, he was sure that his decision was the right thing to do. Being a former kittypet, how could he show the intolerance that past leaders would have shown to non clan cats? "What is your name? What shall we call you now that you're in Thunderclan's care?" He asked the skinny she cat. She looked kind of familiar, as if she reminded him of someone he had known before, but even if that were so, it wasn't a big deal at all now or ever. This cat needed help, and that was the first priority.
